The Marine Rapper (TMR) is a #1 Billboard-Charting Recording Artist.
TMRs sound is an unapologetic militant mix of metal, religion, rap and American patriotism for people who love God, the military and their country.
His musical influences include Notorious B.I.G, Alice in Chains, Linkin Park, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Shaggy, Andre 3000 and Ice T.
TMR is also a U.S. Marine Corps Combat Veteran and award-winning combat correspondent.
He also served for about 10 years in the Marines as a Combat Correspondent (War Reporter)
TMR completed two combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition, TMR covered the operational stories of infantry battalions deployed to Africa and Latvia.
His personal awards include two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, a combat action ribbon (Iraq), three Navy Unit Commendation Medals, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, two Marine Corps Good Conduct Medals, Navy Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, two Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
TMR was awarded, 2006 U.S. Marine Corps Combat Correspondents Association And Division of Public Affairs Merit Awards Program and the Department of Defense Thomas Jefferson Award, the highest award for military journalism, for his Stand alone photo: “Iraqi Woman's House.”
